At the citizenship ceremony, you pledge that you share Australia’s democratic beliefs and that you respect the rights and liberties of the people of Australia.
시민권 의식에서 우리는 호주의 민주주의 신념을 공유하고, 우리가 호주인들의 권리와 자유를 존중할 것을 맹세한다.
Australia is a democracy. A democracy is a system of government in which citizens freely choose
representatives to govern the country and make laws on their behalf.
호주는 민주주의이다. 이는 시민들이 나라를 다스리고, 국민을 대표해 법을 제정할 국가 정부의 대표를 자유롭게 선택할 수 있는 체제이다.
Australians believe in peace, respect, freedom and equality. An important part of being Australian is respecting other people’s differences and choices, even if you don’t agree with those choices. It is about treating people fairly and giving all Australians equal opportunities and freedoms, no matter where they come from, what their traditions are, or whether they are male or female.
호주인들은 평화와 존경, 자유, 평등함을 믿는다. 호주인이 되기위한 중요한 부분은 타인의 차이와 선택을 존중하는 것이다. 비록 당신이 동의 하지 않는다 하더라도. 이는 출신, 전통 혹은 성별을 불문하고 사람들을 공정하게 대하고, 공평한 기회와 자유를 제공하는 것이다.
These democratic beliefs have shaped our country and culture and are a reason why so many people want to become Australian. It is therefore very important that you understand these democratic beliefs, and the rights and liberties that all Australian people respect.
이러한 민주적인 신념은 우리나라와 문화를 형성하게 하였고 많은 사람들이 호주인이 되고자 하는 이유이기도 하다. 그러므로 당신이 이 모든 호주인들이 존중하는 민주주의 이념과 권리, 자유를 이해하는 것은 매우 중요하다.

Parliamentary democracy 의회 민주주의

Australia’s system of government is a parliamentary democracy. This means that all Australians are involved in how the country is governed. The power of the government comes from the Australian people because Australian citizens regularly vote for people to represent them in parliament. Only parliament has the power to make the laws that govern the country.
호주의 정부 체계는 의회 민주주의이다. 이것은 모든 호주인들은 나라의 운영에 참여하고 있다는 의미이다. 정부의 힘은 호주국민에게서 온다. 왜냐하면 호주 시민들이 의회에 그들의 대표를 투표로 선출하기 때문이다.
In a parliamentary democracy, the representatives in parliament must answer to the people, through elections, for the decisions they make.
의회민주주의에서, 의회의 의원들은 그들이 결정을 위해 투표로써 반드시 국민에게 답해야 한다.

The rule of law

Australia’s laws are important for all people living in Australia. Australians recognise the value of laws in maintaining a peaceful and orderly society. All Australians have the right to be protected by Australia’s laws.
호주의 법은 호주내의 모든이에게 매우 중요하다. 호주인들은 평화롭고 질서있게 사회를 유지하기 위한 법의 가치를 알고있다.
Everyone must obey Australia’s laws. If they don’t obey the law, they may be arrested by the police and have to go to court.
모든 사람들은 호주 법에 따라야 하고, 그렇지 않을 경우 경찰에 의해 체포 되거나 법원에 출두하게 될 수도 잇다.
All Australians are equal under the law and no person or group is above the law. This is called the ‘rule of law’. People who
hold positions of power in the Australian community must obey Australia’s laws. This includes government, community and religious leaders, as well as businesspeople and the police.
모든 호주인은 법아래 평등하고 그 어떤 사람이나 조직도 법위에 있을수 없다. 이를 ‘법의 규칙’이라 한다. 호주 공동체내에서 권력을 가진 사람들은 반드시 호주 법에 따라야 한다. 이는 정부, 공동체나 종교 지도자뿐만 아니라 사업가나 경찰도 포함된다.

Living peacefully – 평화로운 삶

We are proud to live in a peaceful country with a stable system of government. We believe that change should occur through discussion, peaceful persuasion and the democratic process. We reject violence as a way to change a person’s mind or the law.
우리는 안정된 정부를 가진 평화로운 나라에 살고 있음에 자부심을 느낀다.

Respect for all individuals regardless of background – 배경에 관계없이 모든 개인을 존중

People come to settle in Australia from countries all around the world.
세계 곳곳에서 사람들이 호주로와 정착한다.
Many people have a different cultural heritage with different beliefs and traditions. In our democratic society, we are all free to follow and share these beliefs and traditions as long as they do not break Australian laws.
많은 사람들은 서로 다른 종교와 전통을 가진 이방 문화 혈통을 가진다. 우리는 민주주의 사회로써, 호주 법을 어기지 않는 한 이러한 종교와 전통들은 자유롭게 함께 할수 있다.

We value this freedom and expect all Australians to treat each other with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, country of origin, gender, sexual preference, marital status, age, disability, heritage, culture, politics, wealth or religion.
우리는 이러한 자유를 소중하게 여기고, 모든 호주인들이 그들의 인종, 기원국, 성, 성 선택, 기혼 유무, 나이, 장애, 혈통, 문화, 정치, 부 또는 종교에 상관 없이 서로 존엄과 존경으로 여기기를 기대한다.
We value this mutual respect for the dignity of all people.

Compassion for those in need – 필요한 이들에 개한 연민

In Australia, there is a spirit of ‘mateship’. This means we help and receive help from each other in times of need. A mate is often a friend, but can also be a total stranger.
호주에는 ‘mateship’(동료의식?) 정신이 있다. 이것은 도움이 필요할때 도움을 주고, 받는다는 의미이다. ‘mate’은 주로 친구를 의미하지만 완전히 모르는 사람일 수도 있다.
A mate might take a meal to an elderly neighbour, drive a friend to a medical appointment or visit someone who is lonely.
mate는 이웃 노인에게 음식을 제공하거나, 병원의 예약이나 친구 방문을 위해 운전해 줄수 있다.
Because of this spirit of mateship, many individual people and groups help others through voluntary community work. You can also be a volunteer.
이러한 정신에 기인해서, 많은 개인이나 모임들이 자발적인 공동체를 통해 다른이들을 돕느다. 당신또한 자원봉사자가 될수 있다.
Volunteering can be very satisfying. It is also a great opportunity to share knowledge, learn new skills, and increase your sense of belonging to the Australian community. Our government also supports Australians in need through social security and other services.
자원봉사는 아주 만족 스러월수 있다. 이는 또한 지식을 공유 하거나 새로운 기술을 배우거나, 호주 공동체의 소속감 강화에 있어 아주 좋은 기회이다.

Our freedoms 우리의 자유

Freedom of speech and freedom of expression – 연설 및 표현의 자유

Freedom of speech allows people to say and write what they think and to discuss their ideas with others.
Freedom of expression allows people to express their views through art, film, music and literature.
말하고 싶은 것을 연설하거나 생각하는 것을 글로 적을수 있는, 또는 다른이들과 그들의 생각을 토론할 수 있는 자유.
예술, 영화, 음악, 문학을 통한 사람들의 관점을 표햔하고자 하는 사람들의 표현의 자유.

In Australia, we are free to say and write what we think, privately or publicly, about any topic. However, we cannot harm others.
호주에서는 다른이들에게 해가 되지 않는 한 우리는 어떠한 토픽에 대해서도 사적, 공적으로 우리의 생각을 말하고 글로 자유롭게 적을 수 있다.
We cannot make false allegations, encourage others to break the law or damage another person’s reputation.
우리는 잘못된 주장이나 법을 어기도록 북돋우거나 다른사람의 평판에 손상을 입힐수는 없다.
There are laws to protect a person’s good name against false information.
잘못된 정보로부터  사람들의 명예를 지켜줄수 있는 법이 있다.
It is against the law to try to make other people hate or act violently towards others because of their culture, ethnicity or background.
이 법은 사람들의 문화, 민족의식, 배경에 기인해서 다른이들을 증오하게 하거나 폭력적으로 행동하는 것을 막고자한다.

We are free to meet with people in public or private places for social or political discussion. We can criticise the government, peacefully protest against
government decisions and campaign to change laws.
우리는 사회, 정치적인 의견을 나누기 위헤 사적, 공적으로 사람들을 만날 자유가 있다. 우리는 정부를 비평할 수 있고, 정부의 결정에 대해 평화적으로 데모 하거나 법변경을 요구하는 켐페인을 할수 있다.
We must also respect other people’s freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
하지만 다른이들의 연설이나 표현의 자유는 반드신 존중되어야 한다.
Newspapers, television and radio have the same freedom.
신문, TV나 라디오 또한 같은 자유를 갖는다.

Freedom of association 모임의 자유

Australians are free to join any legal organisation, such as a political party, trade union, religious, cultural or social group. People can also decide not to join.
호주인 들은 정당, 조합 혹은 종교적 문화적 사회적인 조직에 불법이 아닌한 자유롭게 가입할 수 있다. 물론 가입하지 않을 수 도 있다.
Australians can gather with others to protest against a government action or an organisation. However, all protests must be within the law. This means they must be peaceful, and must not injure any person or damage property.

정부 활동이나 조직들에 대해 반대하기 위해 모일수 (집회) 있다. 단 모든 데모는 반드시 법적이어야 한다. 이는 평화적이고, 사람이나 어떠한 재산에 대해 해를 끼치지 않아야 한다는 뜻이다.

Freedom of religion and secular government – 종교와 (비종교적) 정부(기관)

Australia has a Judaeo-Christian heritage, and many Australians describe themselves as Christians. Australia has public holidays on Christian days such as Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
호주는 유대-기독교적 전통을 물려 받았고 많은 이들이 기독교도라 한다. 호주엔 성금요일, 부할정, 성탄절같은 기독교일이 공휴일로 있다.
However, the government in Australia is secular. This means that there is no official national religion.
하지만 정부는 종교가 없다. 공식적인 종교가 없다는 뜻이다.
People in Australia are free to follow any religion they choose, as long as its practices do not break Australian laws. In addition to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and many other religions are practised freely in Australia.
호주의 사람들은 호주 법을 어기지 않는 어떠한 종교도 자유로이 선택할 수 있다. 기독교, 불교, 이슬람, 힌두, 유대교 및 어떠한 호주내의 종교.
Australians are also free to not follow a religion. The government treats all citizens equally, whatever their religion or beliefs.
물론 종교를 믿지 않을 자유또한 있다. 호주는 모든 시민들을 신앙이나 믿음에 관계없이 평등하게 여긴다.
This mix of religions contributes to making Australia a vibrant multicultural society.
이러한 종교의 혼재는 호주를 역동적인 다문화 사회를 만든다.
Most religions have rules, but these are not laws in Australia. For example, the process of divorce, including custody of children and property settlement, must follow laws passed by the Australian Parliament.
모든 종교는 규범이 있으나 호주의 법은 아니다. 에를 들면 자녀 영육권, 재산 분할을 포함하는 이혼 절차같은 경우 호주 의회에 의해 정해진 법을 반드시 따라야 한다.
All Australians have the right to be protected by these laws. Some religious or cultural practices, such as being married to more than one person at the same
time, are against Australian law.
모든 호주인은 이러한 법에 의해 보호될 권리가 있다. 종교적 신앙적인 이유로 중혼을 한다거나 하는것은 호주 법을 어기는 것이다.

Equality in Australia – 호주의 평등

There are a number of laws in Australia that make sure a person is not treated differently to others because of their gender, race, disability or age.
호주에는 사람들이 성별, 인종, 장애 난 나이로 인해 차이를 당하지 못하도록 하는 여럽 법들이 있다.
Equality of men and women Men and women have equal rights in Australia.
호주에서는 남, 여, 양성 모두 같은 권리를 자짐으로 평등하다.
It is against the law to discriminate against a person because of their gender.
사람들의 성별에 의한 차별은 법에 반하는 것이다.
Both men and women have the right to make their own independent choices about personal matters such as marriage, and are protected by the law from intimidation or violence.
남녀 모두 결혼과 같은 사적인 일에 있어서 그들 자신이 독립적으로 선택할 수 있는 권리가 있고, 위협이나 폭력으로 부터 범에 의해 보호받을 수 있다.
Both men and women have equal access to education and employment. Both men and women can vote and stand for parliament. Both men and women can join
the Australian Defence Force and the police. Men and women are treated equally in courts of law.
남녀 모두 교육이나 취업에 같은 기회를 갖고, 투표나 의회에 설수 있고, 군인 및 경찰이 될수 있다. 또한 법원에서 동등하게 다뤄진다.

Equality of opportunity – 기회의 평등

Australians do not believe in class distinctions in our society.
호주는 시회내 계층(계급)을 믿지 않는다.
Instead, we believe in a fair society, where everyone deserves a ‘fair go’.
대신 우리는 사회의 공정함을 믿는다. 누구나 공정히 될수 있다고 여기는.
This means that what someone achieves in life should be a result of their hard work and talents, rather than their wealth or background.
사람들은 열심힌 일하거나 자신의 재능으로 인생에 성동할수 있다는 뜻이다. 그들의 부나 배경이 아닌.
For example, a person should get a job or a promotion on the basis of their skills, ability and experience, not because of their background.
예를 들면 사람들의 배경이 아닌, 사람들이 일을 얻거나, 그들의 기술, 능력, 경험에 의한 보상을 의미한다.
Australia has many stories of new migrants who have become leaders in business, the professions, the arts, public service and sport through their hard work and talents.
호주에는 그들의 노력과 재능으로 사업, 전문가, 예술, 공공서비스, 운동 분야에서 리더가 된 많은 이민자들의 이야기가 있다.

I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people, whose democratic beliefs I share,

whose rights and liberties I respect, and whose laws I will uphold and obey.

Our people

Indigenous Australians 토착 호주민

Australia’s first inhabitants were the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. They are the Indigenous people of Australia. Australia’s Indigenous cultures are the oldest continuing cultures in the world.
최초 호주 거주자는 Aborigin과  Torres Strait Islander people 이다.
Historically, Aboriginal people are from mainland Australia and Tasmania. They have lived here for between 40 000 and 60 000 years.
역사적으로 Aborigin은 호주 대륙과 Tasmania에 살았다. 그들은 4~6만녕 전부터 살아오고 있다.
Torres Strait Islanders are from islands to the north of Queensland. They have a distinct cultural identity.
Torres Strait Islander는 섬들과 Queensland 북부로 부터 왔고, 구분되는 독자적인 문화를 가지고 있다.
Indigenous people share common beliefs and traditions that still guide them today. They have a deep connection with the land that is expressed in their stories, art and dance.
토착민들은 오늘날 그들의 일반적인 믿음과 전통을 함께 나누고 있다. 그들의 이야기와 예술, 춤을 통한 그들은 표현은 이 땅과 깊게 연결되어 있다.

Early days of European settlement 초기의 유럽으로부터의 정착민

European settlement started when the first 11 convict ships, which became known as the ‘First Fleet’, arrived from Great Britain on 26 January 1788.
유럽인 정착은 1788년 1월26일 영국으로부터 온 ‘First Fleet’(첫 선단)이라 불리는 11대의 죄수를 실은 선박이었다.
At this time British laws were harsh and the jails could not hold the large number of people imprisoned for their crimes.
이때 영국의 법은 엄했고 감옥은 많은 수의 죄수를 수용할 수 없었다.
To manage this problem, the British Government decided to transport these convicts to the other side of the world; to the new colony of New South Wales.
이 문제를 해결하기 위해 영국정부는 죄가 확정된 이들을 다른 땅, 새로운 식민지, NSW,으로 보내기로 결정하였다.
The first governor of the colony of New South Wales was Captain Arthur Phillip. He overcame many problems in the first few years of European settlement. The colony survived and as more convicts and free settlers arrived, it grew and developed. More colonies were established in other parts of the country.
첫 식민지 NSW의 관리는 Captain Arthur Phillip이었다. 그는 첫 유럽인 정착에 따른 초기 몇년간의 문제들을 극복했다.

Early free settlers were from Great Britain and Ireland. This British and Irish heritage has had a major influence on Australia’s history, culture and political institutions.
초기 자유 이민자는 영국과 아일랜드로 부터 왔다. 이 영국과 아일랜드혈통은 호주 역사와 문화, 정치 제도에 주가 되는 영향을 끼쳤다.
In 1851, gold was discovered in the colonies of New South Wales and Victoria. People from all around the world came to these colonies to try their luck at making a fortune. Chinese people arriving at this time were the first large group of migrants not from Europe. In 10 years, the population more than doubled.
1851년 NSW, Vic의 식민지에서 금이 발견 되었다. 세계에서 사람들은 그들의 운을 쫓아 식민지로 왔다. 이때 중국인들이 유입되었는데 이는 비유럽계의 최초 이민자들이다. 그리고 10년도 안되어 인구는 배가 되었다.

The nation of Australia 호주 국가

Over the following decades, the separate colonies discussed the idea of becoming one nation.
몇십년후, 떨어져 있던 정복자들은 하나의 나라를 만들 것을 논의 했다.
In 1901, the colonies were united into a federation of states called the Commonwealth of Australia. At

that time, Australia’s population was counted at about four million people. This number did not include the Indigenous people.

Throughout the first half of the 20th century, migration levels rose and fell. There were programs to actively encourage British migrants to settle here, and many did.

A wave of non-British migration came after World War II, when millions of people in Europe
had to leave their homelands. Large numbers came to Australia to build a new life.

In recent years, our migration and refugee programs have brought people to Australia from all over the world. People have come here to join family, to make a new life in a young country, or to escape poverty, war or persecution.
근래의 우리 이민과 난민 정책은 세계로부터 많은 이들을 호주로 오게 하였다. 사람들은 가족을 만나거나, 새로운 삶을 만들기 위해 혹은 가난, 전쟁, 박해등을 피해 이곳에 왔다.
Today, Australia has a population of about 22 million people. Over one quarter of these people were born overseas. Australia is greatly enriched by the contribution these people make to our nation. While

we celebrate the diversity of Australia’s people, we also aim to build a cohesive and unified nation.
우리는 호주 국민의 다양성을 기념하고, 또한 유대성잇는 하나된 나라 건설을 추구한다.
Australia’s national language is English. It is part of our national identity. Everyone in Australia is encouraged to learn and use English to help them participate in Australian society. Communicating in English is also important for making the most of living and working in Australia. Other languages are also valued. In Australia’s diverse society, over 200 languages are spoken.
호주 국가 언어는 영어이고 이는 우리 국가의 한 특징이다. 호주내 모든 이들은 영어를 배우고 이를 사용하여 이 사회에서 다른이들을 돕울수 있기를 독려하고 있다. 영어로 소통하는 것은 호주에서 살아가고 일하는데 있어 매우 중요하다. 물론 다른 언어도 매우 가치있다. 호주의 다양한 공동체에서 200가지가 넘는 언어가 사용되고 있다.

Australia’s states and territories

호주의 주 및 territory(지역)들
The Commonwealth of Australia is a federation of states and territories. There are six states and two mainland territories. Canberra is Australia’s capital city, and each state and mainland territory has its own capital.
호주는 주 와 territory(지역)들의 연방이다. 6개의 주와 두개의 territory가 대륙내에 있다. Canberra는 호주의 수도이고 각 주와 territory들은 각각의 수도를 가지고 있다.

The states

New South Wales was the first colony established by the British. Sydney is the capital city of New South Wales and is the nation’s largest city. Sydney’s Harbour Bridge and Opera House are national icons.
NSW는 영국에의한 첫 식민정착지이다. 시드니는 NSW의 수도로 호주의 가장 큰 도시이다. 시드니의 Harbour Bridge와  Opera House는 호주의 상징이다.

Victoria is the smallest of the mainland states. Many fine buildings in Victoria were built from the wealth created by the gold rush of the 1850s. Victoria’s capital city is Melbourne.
빅토리아는 대룩의 가장 작은 주이다. 1850년대 Gold rush시기의 풍요로울때 건설된 훌륭한 건물들이 이곳에 많이 있다.

Queensland is the second largest state. It has the Torres Strait Islands in the north, tropical rainforests, temperate coastal areas and an often dry inland. The world famous Great Barrier Reef runs along its eastern coast. Queensland’s capital city is Brisbane.
퀸슬랜드는 두번째로 큰 주로써 북부에 Torres Strait Island들이 있고, 아열대기후에 온대의 연안지역과 건조한 내륙이 주로 있다. 동부 해안을 따라 세계적으로 유명한 Great Barrier Reef(산호지역)가 있다.

Western Australia is the largest state. The east of the state is mostly desert, while the south-west is a rich agricultural and wine-growing area. The state is home to many large mining projects. About three-quarters of the state’s population lives in Perth, the capital city.
Western Australia는 가장 큰 주이다. 주의 동쪽은 거의가 사막이고 남서쪽은 풍부한 농사 및 와인 생산지 이다.
주의 3/4는 수도인 Perth에 거주하고 있다.

South Australia has a rugged coastline and many famous wine regions. Adelaide, the capital city, has many examples of fine colonial architecture.
South Australia에는 울퉁불퉁한 해안선과 유명한 화인 산지가 있다. 수도인 Adelaide에는 식민시대의 유명한 건축물들이 많이 잇다.

Tasmania is the smallest state, separated from the mainland by Bass Strait. Much of the island has unspoilt wilderness landscapes. Tasmania’s capital city is Hobart.
Tasmania는 가장 작은 주로써, Bass Strait(SA와 tas사이의 바다)로 인해 주 대륙과 떨어져 있다. 다수의 섬들이 오염되지 않은 자연의 광경을 가지고 있으면 주도는 Hobart이다.

The territories

The Australian Capital Territory is situated between Sydney and Melbourne. It is the site of the nation’s capital city, Canberra. Canberra is home to important national institutions, such as
Parliament House and the High Court of Australia.
ACT는 시드니와 멜번중간에 위치한다. 나라의 수도 캔버라가 있으며 의회나 고등법원같은 국가 주요 기관들이 있다.

The Northern Territory has the tropics in the north and red desert soil in the south. Most of its small population live in the capital city, Darwin, and along the main highway between Darwin and Alice Springs, which is the main town near the centre of Australia.
NT는 북부에 열대 지역이, 남부에는 적색토양의 사막지대가 있다. 적은 인구의 대부분은 수도인 다윈에 거주한다. 호주의 중심부와 근접한 Alice Springs와 다윈을 잇는 주 고속도로가 있다.

Australia Day

On 26 January each year, we celebrate Australia Day. Australia Day is a public holiday in every state and territory in Australia.
매해 1월26일, 우리는 Australia Day를 기념한다. 이날은 모든 주와 territory의 휴일이다.
On Australia Day, large and small communities across Australia celebrate all that is great about Australia and being Australian. It is the biggest annual public event in Australia.
크고 작은 공동체에서 호주와 이곳 호주인들의 위대함을 모두 기념한다.
Australia Day is the day that we honour our history and all the people who have made this nation great. It is a day to rejoice in the present and commit to a happy and prosperous future together. For this reason, it is a day when many citizenship ceremonies are held across the country.
우리 여사의 위대함과 이나라를 위한 이들을 위한 날이다. 또한 현재를 축하하고 행복과 부유함이 있을 미래를 역속하는 날이기도 하다.
26 January is the anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet from Great Britain in 1788 to set up a convict settlement for the British Government. The commander of the First Fleet was Captain Arthur Phillip.

Anzac Day

Anzac Day is observed on 25 April each year. Anzac Day is named after the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, which landed at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I on 25 April 1915.
Anzac Day는 매해 4월25일 지켜진다. 이 날의 명칭인 안작데이는 1915년 4월25일 1차대전때 터키의 갈리폴리에 상륙한 호주/뉴질랜드 연합군을 뜻한다.
Anzac Day is a solemn day when we remember the sacrifice of all Australians who served and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. We also honour the courage and commitment of all servicemen and women.
이 날은 전쟁에서 전투와 평과유지 작전에 참여하거나 순직한 모든 호주인들의 희생을 기리는 경건한 날이다.

Australia’s flags

호주 국기
Australia has three official flags: the Australian National Flag, the Australian Aboriginal Flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag.
호주에는 다음의 세가지, the Australian National Flag, the Australian Aboriginal Flag and the Torres Strait Islander Flag 기가 공식적으로 존재한다.
Each state and territory also has its own flag. These can be found on page 11.
각 주나 또한 territory 자체 기를 가지고 있다.

The Australian National Flag
호주 국기
The Australian National Flag is blue, white and red. It has three important parts:

?    The flag of Great Britain, known as the Union Jack, is in the top left corner. The flag represents our history of British settlement.

?    The Commonwealth Star is under the Union Jack. This star has seven points, one point for each of the six states and one for the territories.

?    The Southern Cross, on the right, is a group of stars we see in the southern sky.

The Australian Aboriginal Flag is black, red and yellow.
Aborigin기는 흑적황색으로 이루어져 있다.
It has three important parts, and the most common interpretation of the colours is:

?    The top half is black and represents the Aboriginal people of Australia.

?    The bottom half is red and represents the earth and a spiritual relation to the land.

Commonwealth Coat of Arms

The Commonwealth Coat of Arms is the official symbol of the Commonwealth of Australia. It represents our national unity. It identifies the authority and property of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Commonwealth Coat of Arms는 호주 연방의 공식 표식이다. 이것은 우리나라의 통합을 의미한다.
이는 호주정부의 인가, 재산을 의미한다.

?    The shield in the centre represents the six states and federation.

Australia’s national flower is the golden wattle. This small tree grows mainly in south-eastern Australia. It has bright green leaves and many golden yellow
flowers in spring. Each of the states and territories of Australia also has its own floral emblem.
